Since our first conversation in 2021, Seea has proudly supported Women & the Wind—a project born from a desire to inspire adventure beyond the norm, reconnect with nature, and take meaningful action to protect it.
Now, after years of dreaming and doing, their story lives on in a beautiful new documentary film.
Three women ignite the flames of curiosity and adventure which lay dormant within so many of us, by deepening our understanding of the synergy between nature and humanity—and by doing so radically, through a voyage across the North Atlantic.
At its heart, Women & the Wind is the true story of three remarkable women—Captain Kiana Weltzien, environmentalist Lærke Heilmann, and photographer Alizé Jireh—who hand-restored a 50-year-old wooden catamaran named Mara Noka, then set sail across the Atlantic Ocean. What began as a bold idea became a living voyage—a reminder that when adventure is rooted in care, connection, and courage, it can spark real change.
We believe in stories that move us—toward the ocean, toward each other, and toward action. Women & the Wind is one of those stories. We hope to see you there.
